My neighbours have very kindly allowed us access across there gardens, my imediate neighbour is due home this week and had thought we would be finished. I shall have to break the news to her, and hope she will agree to continuing access until the work finishes!
On Monday the other concrete base should go in, then erection should begin. Basically we are re-jigging the layout and putting proper foundations down, nothing extra has been added.

ReplyDeleteI think that every major project I have been involved in has always taken longer than anticipated. Too many unexpected problems with weather, equipment, time, workmen, supplies etc etc.... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all will be completed very soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat job on the concrete base Libby! I wonder if we can do something as smooth as that ourselves. I agree about feeling autumnal the past few days, some trees even look like they're shedding leaves already. Still pining for the return of summer, there's still the rest of August and September to pin our hopes on :)
