Having torn the house apart, I eventually found my gardening book
in here
and I have no idea how it got there!!! But I am relieved!!
Anyway we are currently having a glorious week of weather and there is lots going on in the garden:-
Tulips out already, I expect they will get hit by the frost this weekend.
The Gunnera has come through the winter surprisingly, I uncovered it for the first time today!
This plant, a relative of the Gunnera has lived in a pot for 2 years on the north side of the house, last year I bought it down by the pond and yet again it is growing.
I had hoped the Gunnera might be dead and I could replace it with this as it appears alot hardier and far more reliable!
In the Greenhouse
I think these Maurellis have had it, they are quite squishy, but I shall cut them back abit further and see what they are like further down.
this one doesn't seem too bad
The crosiers in the Tree Fern are getting bigger..
and this stupid thing is going mad, I should pot it up into a bigger pot!
Lots of Ladybirds in the garden
Looking up the garden at the veg patch
I am in two minds whether or not to get rid of the veg and plant more tropicals here.
The baytree is definately dead, so will hopefully come out and we can re-route the path.
My handsom chap enjoying the sunshine!
Mr Darcy is beautiful, I want him...!
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks good, and I'm so glad you found your book.
We have some bulbs peeping through, and the lawn is greening up, then last night we had snow. Not much, but it's still snow..!
hugs
xx
Well done in finding your gardening book, it must have been frustrating whilst looking for it!
ReplyDeleteLovely spring shots btw, it's nice to see all these plants springing into action again. Maybe you can get the Maurellii to pup if you hang on to it for awhile??
